5/16 inch gold stars for second and subsequent awards of any Navy Military Decoration. (i.e. Navy Achievement Medal)
Silver Stars wear in lieu of five gold or five bronze stars.
3/16 inch bronze stars on the suspension ribbons of medals and on ribbons (ribbon bars) of the following for second or subsequent awards. (i.e Good Conduct)
