Canceled Orders All canceled order requests will be processed as soon as possible.  But if it is a custom or order on demand items it will not be refunded or canceled.  If it is a regular item it will be re-funded and the order will be canceled.  If there are any other pending orders, or future orders under your name will be canceled as well.  Since this now comes to a customer reliability issue.  The refund is done upon cancelation any delays with refunds please contact your bank as processing times are not on our end.

Custom or Order on Demand Items All custom or Order on demand items i.e. Rings, Lanyards, Sheaths and Knives are non-returnable and non-refundable.      

Pre-Orders Pre-order items will not be refunded since the item purchased for pre-order was purchased on your behalf.  The funds paid went towards the buying funds for the item ordered.          

Lead Times Orders that 3–6-week lead times are non-refundable.  These items will not be refunded since the item purchased was purchased on your behalf.  The funds paid went towards the buying funds for the item ordered. 

Returns Policy You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)  If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.  Buyer’s remorse is not an acceptable reason for returns.  A 25% restocking fee will be applied for returned items and canceled orders when merchandise needs to be made or ordered.  Not meeting your deadline dates due to improper planning your part is not our issue.

You should expect to receive your refund within four days of receiving your package to the us however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
No Returns After 14 Days

Ring Returns The buyer is responsible for selecting the ring size during checkout. If the buyer receives the ordered ring and the ring does not fit, the buyer will be responsible for shipping back to The Boatswain's Mate Store, as well as return shipping back to buyer’s address. 

Shipping We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Most items on this website have a flat rate shipping charge. This charge is for United States and U.S. Commonwealth addresses only, which includes U.S. Navy Ships, and all U.S. installations. If any orders are placed outside of the U.S., The flat rate shipping payment will go towards the shipping charge. If the buyer’s shipping cost is higher than the U.S Flat rate shipping price, then the buyer will be invoiced via website to collect the rest of the shipping cost owed.

We are not responsible for shipment customs, duties or fees along with local laws on imported items.  If confiscated, we will decline liability and fees.  

Shipping Address. We are not responsible for the buyers addresses typos or mail issues.  We only send orders to the address that is provided at checkout.  If the item is returned to the sender, we will not reship the order until the order has been received.  The buyer will pay re-shipment cost.  

Shipping Companies. We are not responsible for the shipping companies’ tardiness in delivering packages.  If there is an issue, I will do my best to correct it if it is our fault.                                  

Shipping Missing or Lost Shipments. We are not responsible for lost shipments.  If a shipment is missing or lost.  Please contact USPS and file a missing mail claim or lost package claim.  That can be done online or at your local post office.

FPO and APO Mail gets lost overside of ships and aircraft, we are not responsible after it leaves the ISC post office of Chicago, New York, Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles.  Often these packages stop tracking and or no longer scanned again.  

DLA/Supply Warehouse Deliveries Once the order is signed for by the DLA/Supply representee we are no longer responsible for the item as it was delivered to the warehouse.  DLA items get missent and mis-routed often within supply system.  The item was delivered to the address provided and is not our responsibility. 

Shipping Times.  First Class Mail, Priority Mail, or Overnight Mail is selection, that is for the shipping service.  That does not include handling times, production times, and processing.  If payments are made with Amazon Pay or Shopify Payments, your order might be on a 2–4-day hold.  The funds are not available to me immediately.   All orders are first in first, first out basis.  If all items are in stock it ships out the same or next day after payments are cleared excludes holidays.  The shipping service paid doesn’t change the processing time of your order.   

Piss poor planning on your part does not constitutes an emergency on ours !!!!!
